HBF Bio Fuels was founded on the combination of business, logistics and pharmaceutical experience to insure the future success of bio fuels in the EU.

Product
Biodiesel:
What is Biodiesel? It is often abbreviated as FAME, or fatty acid methyl ester. Is it a totally environmentally friendly form of diesel, manufactured from vegetable oil. Carbon emissions from this type of fuel are negligible, so the environment wins. Also, it can be used instead of conventional fossil fuel, so again the environment wins. It can be used in any conventional diesel engine without any need for engine adjustment. It can be mixed in any proportion with conventional diesel.
Raw Material:
In HBF Biofuel's Waste for Fuel Program, it is intended to use waste vegetable oil in the manufacturing process. If you have waste cooking oil we will collect it from you. For information please contact us at the email above.
Quality
High quality standards are at the heart of HBF Biofuel's philosophy. All production processes are carried out in the spirit of good manufacturing practice, in accordance with industry standards. The aim to produce biodiesel of consistent quality using robust manufacturing processes remains key to the company's success.
Company Goals
Our company goal is to provide clean quality Irish fuel at a competitive price. While being friendly to the environment, reducing emissions, and replacing a fossil fuel that is depleting the earth's natural resources - switching to biodiesel is the obvious choice to save money and protect the environment at the same time.
EC Directives
Recent EC directives introduced mean that in 2005, 2% of all energy produced must be renewable energy. By 2010, this figure must rise to 5.75%. Therefore, the government are looking for ways to increase the percentage of renewable energies produced in order to comply with this directive. As Biodiesel is a completely renewable fuel, increase in the use of Biodiesel is the only logical step towards meeting the requirements of this EC directive.
